This is Leo. Mikey and I have decided that we will take turns blogging daily. Mikey will cover tomorrow and I will cover the day after, and it will alternate like that. Anyway, back to today's update. G came around 9 this morning to clean our cages and feed us some fresh greens and beardie treats. Beardie treats are these little pink cubes that smell and taste like strawberries and peaches. They are delicious! I really recommend them for you fellow beardies. The real name on the jar is "Bites for Bearded Dragons". For those of you who are interested, you can get them at pet stores like Petco or Petsmart. They are sort of like moist pellet things. Now back to the day. G also held me and pet me a lot. I really like it when she does that. Though I wish that she would have taken me into her bathroom and let me run around and play. Thats okay. After that I sat on my branch and ate my salad. It was a pretty good day so far.
A couple of hours later, G came in because she wanted to sit and talk with us while she did stuff on her computer. Then she noticed something in my cage: wood chips. Now calm down everyone, I'm okay. Apparently what happened was G's Mom was helping us out by taking my branch outside and rinsing it off because that's where I went #2. She set it down on a flower box that had wood chips filling the inside, and when she rinsed it, the wood chips stuck on my branch and later fell off in my cage after it had dried. G got it all cleaned out and everything is okay which probably turned out for the better. I almost thought that they were food!
All in all, it was a pretty good day. Mikey and I talked a lot during the day and managed to post the Welcome story to this blog. Plus, now I'm writing this update and its about 7:00. We did a lot today! Oh and I'll attach some photos of me and Mikey so you can see what we look like! Make sure to comment on this post or on the other post and ask questions. Have a good day everyone!
